How to sync devices on Linux

Im after a quick answer if possible, is there any way to sync a HP Ipaq 4150 with Ubuntu??

uhh the same things you entered in your post? :p

sync palm ipaq usb (or serial depending on what connections you want to use) etc

How else were you able to find apps you wanted? I always go to the home page for the OS or distro, find the package browser, and start searching.
