Share on a Network for Winblows machines?
Share with users on the same machine?

i am using ubunto and i need to share some folders with some friends that have windows. they need to pick some work from my folders.

If they are on the same network you might use Samaba to set up file sharing for Windows on your Ubuntu.

If they are on the Internet you might want to look into setting up a FTP Server on your Ubuntu.
