How to setup KDE 3.3 with user account

Hi, I have Mandrake 10 Official, and I am currently using KDE 3.2 BRANCH >= 20040204. I have successfully downloaded and compiled KDE 3.3 from source using Konstruct. I have also setup KDE 3.3 with my root account by changing variables in .bashrc under the root directory, however, my main user account still boots into KDE 3.2.

If someone could explain how I could setup my user account to login with KDE 3.3 that would be excellent.

Thanks!

Well, I somehow got KDE 3.3 to run on my digiplaya user account, however, I have encountered slight bugs. For example, my Totem Media Player crashes everytime I go into it. And other programs randomly crash as well.

Any help would be appreciated!

Foo_bar_foo, the KDE site that you led me to tells me how to build and run two versions of KDE at the same time. I already know how to do that, and have compiled and installed KDE 3.3. The problem is some of my applications crash right when I run them. And pardon the "randomly crashing" thing I said earlier. I didn't get random crashes.

I would like to know why my apps do this to me, and if anyone knows how to fix it.
