How to set up remote desktop control?
Hi all,

I'm very new to linux. Please be patient with me if my question is stupid enough.

I have 2 computer. On my notebook I have Windows XP and my home desktop has Suse Linux 9.0.

At my home I have DSL router connection.I would like to know how I can set up a remote desktop connection between my notebook and my desktop.I would like to control my Linux computer with my Windows XP computer when I am away from home.

Please note that I am a newbie so explain slow and if you have enought time step by step!!!

Thanks all in advance!! BYE BYE!:)

try tightvnc...

(you'd use the server on the linux box and the viewer on the windows box...)

I will try software you suggested to me.

I would like to ask you if you think that also the Linux Desktop Sharing function may be a solution for the remote desktop controlling.
