how to set gnome-terminal to open in full screen by default

As the subject indicates, I want to open gnome-terminal in full-screen by default...Whenever I try to open gnome-terminal, it always opens in a small window ...and i always have to maximize it and then put it to full screen.... Is there any way by which I can set gnome-terminal to open in full screen by default...
