... How to set audio "channel" in Mplayer ...

Hi guys,

I have failed to install Mplayer-plugin with Firefox, thus now I have installed

"MediaPlayerConnectivity" for firefox where I chose "GMplayer" to play

streaming.

The installation is very very easy, I got no problems with that. So, I tried to play

with some website containning some vdo and audio clip, like "wma", "wmv" files.

I found that, the video quality is not quite good, also the audio. I checked what

Gmplayer reported about audio setting, it showed something like:

"the audio channel is set to 1" ......

I think that, this might be one reason why I heard a very "AM" sound, not "FM"

sound  ... don't know exactly how to describe this, but the fidelity is bad.

I tried to download some video clip from some website, which are in "mpeg"

format, I found that, "the audio channel is set to 2", and I could hear nice sound

from that clip, very "stereo".

Anyone can suggest me about how to set the GMplayer to play "wma" or

"wmv" file where the audio channel is set to 2, please ??

Very thanks to any reply :)

Alez
