how to send email to others using postfix

Hi everyone!
I've installed and configured postfix.
I'm able to send and receive email locally.
I'm able to receive email from gmail, yahoo, rediff etc accounts.

But I'm not able to send email to somebody on the internet (to gmail, yahoo etc)

Please tell me how to send email to others on the internet.

You need to set the smtp from your provider as relayhost in
Code:
/etc/postfix/main.cf
Code:
relayhost = SMTP_FROM_YOR_PROVIDER
Kind regards
