How to Save RTSP URL's with VLC

Until recently, I've been using RealPlayer to play RTSP feeds on my F7 box by clicking on a saved URL. These days, RealPlayer pops up "Cannot open the audio device. Another application may be using it." Googling this does not identify a simple solution to this...

I can use VLC to play RTSP feeds, but I have to re-enter a URL each time. Is there some way of saving a URL with VLC?

TIA,
Jon

Is there a config "history" setting? Else enter the URI in the playlist and save that?
