How to save fonts option in Emacs ?

The emacs's chractor is too little,so i want to save the font option.

I use the menu "Options"->"Mule"->"Set Fonts/Fontset", and typed "Save Options".

but every time I start emacs,the fons is little again.

How to save the fonts option ?

i noticed that doesn't work too.
one way is to put in ~/.Xresources
emacs.font: *fixed-bold-r-*-15-*-*
it gets read in when you log in
to test do
xrdb ~/.Xresources

if you ues gtk
the gtk is not read the ~/.Xresources
