whats winblows? Ive never heard of it. You must mean Windows.

hunter_one: You've installed a SOURCE RPM. You have to now compile that source. Im not sure how, I dont use RPM based distros.

You're a member right? Just grab a binary package from them, and install that. It would probobly use an i386 or i686 in the rpm name.

Also, WineX 2.1 is very old, I wouldn't use it. Using regular WINE would be better than that.

There was a how-to somewhere for getting Diablo2 working with WINE, you had to download a special EXE.

Well, if you're not a member, what you downloaded was an illegal copy of WineX, so I wont help you.

Go to the transgaming site and download the current cvs.
./compile && make && make install

For the record, there are dozens of non-illegal rpms of winex and point to play out there. Gentoo includes ebuilds for both, and a simple googlesearch will get you any rpm you want. They're just snaphots of the cvs when the releases where branched, and include some patches to make them work ok.

teval: Transgaming just sent a ceice and decist letter to Gentoo for its ebuilds. I believe they complied.

The thing isnt licensed fully under the GPL, and distributing a package is against their license.

You don't have OpenGL installed. Well not the header files anyways. You'll want to install the OpenGL drivers specific to your video card if at all possible...

if not possible, you'll need the mesa libraries I believe.
