how to run vb program on ubuntu ?
Hello friends,
is it possible to run visual basic programs on Ubuntu 8.10 ?
is it possible to run visual basic program on Gambas ?

Don't know how well they'd work....I'd rewrite the application in a better language, before trying to shoehorn VB onto Linux....

Are you actually trying to run the program from source, or just a compiled binary/executable? If you've already compiled it you can probably just use wine ( www.winehq.com) to run it.

Really?? According to the Mono project website, version 2.4 is available for the latest versions of OpenSuSE (amongst others), via repository. The site has been updated April 2009.....
