How to run shell script directly without inquiring running mode?
I wrote a shell script in X-window gnome, everytime I double-click the icon, It shows a dialog to inquire 1.display 2.run in terminal 3.cancel or 4.run.
It's troublesome. How can I modify some config files to make the shell script run directly? Do me a favor, thanks! |
In most cases as far as I know with gnome, you can right click on the icon and in the properties you can select it to run in a terminal, etc.

May there's a possible that I only need to modify some config files, then I can run the shell script as KDE environment.

On my Nautilus 2.0.6 (gnome 2) in the Preference -> Icons & Listview
option you can change the action for executable text files. Hope that helps. |
