Thumbs up How to run Lightroom 5.7.1 on slackware 14.1 with wine. Tutorial


Hi! I just searching a holl day for solution around Lightroom 5.7.1
I want to give you my best and tell you how step by steb easyest way.
My machine is slackware current with kernel-source-4.4.14
You need to install:
wine-1.8-x86_64-1alien.txz
http://slackware.org.uk/people/alien..._64-1alien.txz
winetricks-20151116
https://slackbuilds.org/repository/1...rch=winetricks
Photoshop Lightroom 5.7.1 (32 bits version)
http://www.adobe.com/support/downloa...57&fileID=5903

Ok, here is the instructions:

#If you are using wine on your machine before

1. delete ~/.wine
2. delete ~/.cache

#If you are not using wine never just go from 3.

3. export WINEARCH=win32
4. winecfg #and install mono
5. winetricks win7
6. Install Lightroom 5.7.1 (32 bits version)
7. winetricks winxp
8. winetricks gdiplus corefonts ie7 windowscodecs comctl32 colorprofile vcrun6
9. winetricks wininet=builtin
10. winetricks win7
11. Run Lightroom
Optionally with winetricks you can install also vcrun2005, vcrun2008, dotnet45, d3dx9_36,

My way's easier, I learned darktable instead.

I use darktable also for postprocessing, but there is some difference specially in highlights and shadows when apply them.
