Hmmmz, yeah, i got LimeWire running since a couple of days, but i'm not really satisfied, it doesn't find too much, and yeah i didn't mean Kazaa Lite or something just Kazaa Lite Resurrection.... It works fine on my Windows machine, so i wanted to try it in Linux =)
i haven't tried yet to use kazaa with wine, but i can tell you another thing.
if you used to download bittorrent files you can use the wine emulator to use BitSpirit (a client interface for bitspirit files). you simply have to copy the folder (for example c:\programs\BitSpirit) to your linux partition and type (when you are into the directory) using a shell (USER MODE!!) "wine <program-name.exe>".
this is the standard procedure to use wine emulator for windows programs!
now i'll try to use kazaa...if you want to know if it works i'll reply to you.
uhm...i have tried to use wine with kazaa(lite++) but it doesnt work. the problem is that when you run kazaa the program tries to read sone registry entries than cannot be found when you are running...anyway i think you can live also without kazaa there are lots of programs similar to that (like gtk-gnutella, or aMlue, for example), and i also think that kazaa IS a spyware!!
