how to run .exe file in Redhat Linux Fedira Core 3
Hi,
I am new to this Redhat linux Fedora Core 3. The Kernel version is 2.6.9_1.667smp and architecture is i686. I am doing some testing on internal modem. The modem i am using is D-link Internal 56Kbps V.92 Data/Fax/Voice Modem. The driver i have installed is hsfmodem-7.18.00.05full_k2.6.9_1.667smp-1fdr.i686.rpm. In order to activate this modem i have to install Sify Gold (ISP) which is a .exe file. So please tell me how to run .exe file in linux Operating system.
With Regards,
Sumathi

Usually .exe is more associated with windows executables. Are you sure it's a linux executable?

I don't think you will be able to setup your isp using wine. You maybe better off calling the isp and getting the configuration details and enter them manually.

Hai all,
To activate a modem the ISP given exe is not used. Its for dialer, first check FC3 recoganising the modem. The Sify Gold CD meant for installin the dialer, use FC3 ppp connection instead.
bye
