How to run a downloaded program after it has been installed.
i have just migrated from XP. i run suse 9.2 pro. i know somewhat how to install a program in linux correctly. I have no clue, however, as to how to use that program after it is installed. is there a shortcut somewhere? how do i run, for example, a game that has been downloaded as "game.tar.gz" and installed via terminal commands
./configure
make
make install
etc...
