How To Remove 'Other' Folder Installed Without Permission

I got ubuntu 8.04 and i have an 'Other' folder that popped up on my menu without warning. It's sandwiched between 'Office' and 'Sound & Video' and has a bunch of stuff, like, browser info, cgi scripts, KDE performance, etc. How do I remove this folder from my system and menu? I think this was installed when i had installed k3b, but, i never was asked to install this.

Please let me know, guys!

Wink

sudo rm -Rf ./Desktop/Other
will do the job. Of course you have to enter your p/w for sudo.

WildPossum, thanks for the reply. Will your command remove just the entry in the menu and/or will it also remove the files associated with it?

.
