how to reject overquota email using cyrus-imapd?

I want that my server reject email if the recipient's mailbox is full, not relaying the message. By default, the server relays it by3 or 5 days. I want the messages being rejected immediatly if the mailbox is full.

I am using cyrus-imapd release 2.2.8, and in the /etc/imapd.conf I put the line

lmtp_overquota_perm_failure: yes

but it stills relays the message.

Can you help me?
