How to program Drone with Linux?

How to program Drone with Linux?
Which apps of Linux can be used to program drone most easier?
I am using Ubuntu.

I'd say more or less all programming languages are available on Linux, with the possible exception of platform-specific languages like Swift. A quick web search led me to this Quora contribution, which looks rather well-founded: https://www.quora.com/Which-programm...ode-for-drones.

EDIT: Robot Operating System seems to be made for Ubuntu.

How about using cleanflight?

Does it run on Linux?

I've installed both BetaFlight and iNav on a Linux Mint PC. Both are based on CleanFlight.

The iNav Configurator comes in a zip that you extract then run the executable inside. Betaflight Configurator has rpm and deb packages available so it's as simple as downloading and double clicking the installer. It looks like CleanFlight Configurator does as well.

As mentioned in the instructions. You'll need to add your user to the dialout group to access the usb serial port.

Hope this helps. Let us know if you have any problems or other questions.

Edit:
What flight-controller(s) are you trying to set up?

Thank you.
The flight controller we will buy from Alibaba. :)
