how to prevent hellanzb from repairing files?

hellanzb keeps checking, veryfing and repairing my files.
i want it to only download..

i tried this
Code:
Hellanzb.SMART_PAR = False
Hellanzb.UNRAR_CMD = None
Hellanzb.PAR2_CMD = None
Hellanzb.SKIP_UNRAR = True
i tried commenting out the PAR2_CMD line also, but no go.
it still is veryfing my files after downloading, its gonna kill my hard drive.

how to stop this silly behaviour?
i actually use openbsd, so this is the only nzb downloader i can use at the moment, i could compile nzbget from source, but i want to try to fix this thing first..
