how to play windows media 9 files?
 
ok guys, I installed the w32codecs but does not have wm9 support, I saw that exist a wm9codecs.exe that is only for windows, where I can find wm9codecs for linux if exist? thanks

Hi,

It depends on which player you are using. I'd recommend using mplayer (or Gmplayer for the gui version)
There are plenty of sites from where you can download Gmplayer.

As for the codecs for mplayer you might want to take a look at this link : Binary Codecs for MPlayer

I think the problem could be the codecs themselves. You nee to download the latest ones from the mplayer website, because some of the older versions of the win32 codecs don't play the newer ms media types.
