Open totem, click Movie, Open, navigate to the TS_Video folder and select all the .vob files and it should play, at least for me it does.

Can you play a dvd movie with totem or watch a youtube video with it? I thought Mint offer all codecs one would need.

When you select the vob files, are you selecting them all before trying to play it?

depending on your media player, as linux has so many to choose from, i prefer VLC as it runs native on all OSs that I use, thus makes my life simpler to explain to my wife how to do things.

1. ctrl+d (open disk)
2. check the VIDEO_TS folder radial button
3. click the Browse... button
4. navigate to your VIDEO_TS folder and select it
5. click the Open button.
6. Click the Open button on the first (open disk) screen you navigated away from to get to your VIDEO_TS folder.
7. enjoy your movie.
