How to play a music CD with Audacious

Hello all

I have installed Debian Etch with Openbox as window manager and Audacious, I can listen to music files but I can't listen music cd's, do I have to install something else?

The same happen in another computer where I have installed Debian Lenny with LXDE and Audacious

does audacious attempt to play the cd?
could be that you are missing the cable that attaches your cd-rom to your sound card
audio cd is handled differently then audio files and is typically output to a special port on the back of the cdrom itself which would be attached to a special port on the sound card, audio cd doesnt typically route through the ide interface

The cable is not needed since it can be done via digital audio extraction, not analog.

The problem is that in this Audacious version (1.5.1) does not appear the Add CD option, just the add files and add internet address options.
