How to open rpm in Gnome?


How do you open rpms in Gnome. When I click on a rpm I get an error message, saying tha Nautilus has no viewer to open this file. What file do I associated it with ibn order to execute it?
When I use KDE it open fine.

use kde

also, "cd" to where the rpm is and rpm -ivH rpmpackagename.rpm

open a console and type gnome-file-types-properties. Go to packages, select rpm and click on edit go to acctions and in the second option choose Software instaler then press ok and thats all.
