Wink How to obtain network parameters from NS2 trace file?


I installed NS2.31 in ubuntu10.04, run .tcl file and generated trace file. Now I want to know the network parameters,(throughput, delay, packet dropping rate), how can I analyze the trace file? anyone can help me?

Hi musemicang,

I'm the developer of NS2 Visual Trace Analyzer, available at http://nsvisualtraceanalyzer.wordpress.com/.
It runs on Windows and on Linux with Wine or other Windows emulation tool.
You can check its manual file for troubleshooting.
