how to mount your usb drive
Hello All,
Is anybody aware of how to mount your usb drive on linux? What would be the device name for it?

plug in the usb drive
run the command 'dmesg | tail' and give us the output
is the usb drive a hard drive? or a small memory stick?

Hi Guys..I tried it but couldn't resolve. dmesg didn't give me the corresponding device name. My RH machine is corrupted and so I am using a VMWare machine which has a Linux kernel. I will attach the output of dmesg:

I believe that the above output talks only about the LUNS configured with the server. sda, sdb, sdc....sdh. right??
