how to mount or extract files from .ima image


trying to extract the files from an .ima file, is there a vfd like software for ubuntu?

If it's a disk image then you can mount it like an .iso

You might start with

Never heard of an ima file but the extension in linux doesn't mean a whole lot.
File may indeed help.

Where did you get this file and what do you believe it is?
