how to mount .img cd image created with k3b


hey,
How do I mount an .img cd image created with k3b?
I use KDE 3.5 on debian. Also, how is img different from iso?

its a standard iso image, just with a .img extension.
so mount it like any other iso image: mount -o loop file.img /mountpoint

dont you need to add the -t iso9660 to that or as it is a .img you dont need that part of the command?

Code:
mount -t iso9660 /path/to/.iso(or).img /path/to/mount -o loop
??? im still learning about mount too.
