How to mount FAT32 for every users ?


I'd like to mount a FAT32 partition for every users can read and write but when i use this command only root can write in this.

mount -t vfat /dev/sda3 mount_point

How can i solve this.

Add the entry for the partition to your /etc/fstab file.
Code:
/dev/sda3 mount_point vfat rw,auto

I followed the sugestion but other users only can read not write on this partition.

Hi!
I was wondering what happens if you give all users read/write permissions to the mount_point.
Try this and tell me if it is ok.

okay, now i made it. I put this line into the fstab and everything is ok

/dev/sda3 mount_point vfat rw,nouser,auto,uid-500,gid-500,umask=077 0 0
