Question How to mount a remote storage unit in Gnome?

I want to use my Unix account (I have shell access) on a remote server as a common place to store my documents, accessible from anywhere I have access to the Internet. I'd like to automount this space at startup in Gnome easily (without the command line) so that it appears in Nautilus as a local partition (if no connection to the Internet, no mount, no error message). Is it possible?
