How to make Shares show up in Device area in nautilus?

Is there any way to get a share broadcasted and showing in the "Devices" area?

Currently my "Devices" area in Nautilus shows:

CD/DVD
USB Keys
Unmounted Partitions like (XFS fs)
etc...

and..

AoE (ATA over Ethernet)

The AoE is useful for liveCD's or ISO read only mounts. I want to show NFS (or other) shares in the Devices area (ie I have my family pictures, I want them to show under devices)

I was playing with AoE and GFS/OCFS but it's way to much setup needed on each computer...not to mention I want it read only.

I know "Devices" is not meant for shares but with my family they only use what's in their face. So everyone's complaining they can't access our photo's because they can't remember /mnt/Photos or find it searching via the "Browse Network"

how about:

* "file" menu
* "connect to server" entry
* selet Window Share in the dropdown menu, etc ...
* check the box that says "Add bookmark"
* input a bookmark name
* press connect

later you can move it to the top of the list for more visibility
