Question How to make mpv save screenshot to desktop folder?

Hi.

By default mpv saves screenshot to the Home folder? How can I change it to the Desktop folder? I presume '.config/mpv/mpv.conf' is involved?

Thanks. ⛄

this is a desctructive answer/post. You need to explain what is your problem.
The link I sent is quite simple:
Code:
Screenshots of the currently played file can be taken using the 'screenshot' input mode command, which is by default bound to the s key. Files named mpv-shotNNNN.jpg will be saved in the working directory, using the first available number - no files will be overwritten.
This cannot be made more simple. But on the other link (which is actually the same page) you can find there is an option --screenshot-directory which can be either put in a profile or specified in command line.

I added this line to .config/mpv/mpv.conf

Code:
screenshot-directory=Desktop/
Sorted!
