how to make available folder in Apache?


Hello

I have intranet serwer and I'd like to make folder available via Apache. How to do it?.
I'd like to read this folder from another box from web browser.

Depends on where the directory in question is located.

Simple way, copy the directory to the DocumentRoot of Apache:
cp -R yourdirectory /var/www/htdocs or wherever your web files are served.

Make a symlink in DocumentRoot to the directory in question. The best way I would say.

cd to the DocumentRoot
ln -s /path/to/your/dir a-directory-name
