how to make a HP Soft Font File (.SFP)

Hi Folks,

I'm trying to make a HP Soft Font (.SFP) file. It's a company logo that I want to download to the HP printers memory for being used on forms. I've found references to a PKtoSFP program that will convert a TeX .PK file to the SFP format. But it's not on either my FC1 or Suse Pro 9.1 machines.

I started with a .BMP file in windows and found the linux BMPtoPBM program to convert it to PBM format and then the PBMtoPK prgram to convert that to .PK. Now I just need the PKtoSFP program. The program does appear to be older and to be part of possibly the TeX or Troff/Groff program.

If anyone could provide some direction on where to get the PKtoSFP program, or another way to create an .SFP file it would be appreciated. OR If someone has the PKtoSFP program on their system, I can send you my .PK file.

Appreciate it,
