How to Konqueror background row highlighting?

Concerning Konqueror as a file browser:

I can't seem to find info anywhere on how to disable the automatic row highlighting which gets turned on in Konqueror when any of: 'tree, info, detailed or text' view modes are activated. The best I can think of so far is to create white png and set it as a folder background image, but I'd rather just keep the color as white, and not have highlighting. Do you know how?

Try this...

At the KDE Control Center, select

LookNFeel>Colors

and then in the "Widget Color" box, select "Alternate Background in Lists".

Then set the color to white.
