how to join redhat linux 6.5 server to ldap server
 

Hi Experts,

Need your help to join linux server (red hat linux 6.5)to be a member of existing ldap server.

I have installed openldap-clients but not sure how to proceed further.

FYI: ldap server is already operational and many linux servers are member of it. I have installed a new REL 6.5 and now need to make this a member of ldap server as well.

If I get your question correctly, you wish to make an entry in your ldap configuration so that this new server is a "computer"?? Or do you want it to replicate or other issue with ldap?
