Did you ever get SVGAlib to work in FC4.
I'm using a 19" LCD monitor and a ATI Radeon 9200SE and I can't get it to work.
I set hoz, vert and set as vesa mode in libvga.conf , SVGAlib doesn't seem to have
much support for later video cards.
If I run a application the monitor goes dark like it's going to start app but pops back to
desktop.
I run as SU and it says that [svgalib: allocated virtual console #9]
There just doesn't seem to be much or any support SVGAlib, I googled SVGAlib and
doesn't come up with anything but maillist posts, I went to the SVGAlib website and
all the info seems to old stuff. It appears that SVGAlib is fading.
What is "root access"? is it this "/" or is it "/root" also for eather one should you untar it from / (or/root) and let all the programs wind up in /svgalib-1.4.3 or should all the files resulting from untar they be moved to / ( or /root)? is tar xvf filename ok to untar?
