sanatan1988,
Assuming little change since Fed 9, two ways I can think of off the top of my head are: Browse to your DVD and go to the Packages directory. Double click on the desired package and act on the prompts to install. Else, Go to Add/Remove Software. From there, click on System->Software Sources, and uncheck everything but Fedora xxx (your dvd). Any software you add will be from your DVD. Of course, I'm also assuming that you're in a gui like KDE or GNOME. Good luck. Colonboy Why? Because my employer and my clients are gastroenterologists. |
hi,
i tried doing that(unchecking everything else than dvd). but when i double click on the package(inside the dvd) it starts downloading.. gui-gnome |
