how to install software downloaded through MCC?
 
how do we install software that is not available through Mandriva Linux Control center?

I can download to desktop but how do i install newly downloaded apps ( Outside of MCC) do I have to use command line?
I want to install XBMC http://xbmc.org/download/

Is XBMC avail for use with MANDI KDE4 and if download how do I get it installed?

You can get the source code from here: http://sourceforge.net/project/showf...ease_id=637956. Download XBMC-8.10.src.tar.gz.

You will then need to compile and then install it. Unpack the file, enter the created folder/directory and follow the instructions in the INSTALL file.
