You shouldn't. Fedora 14 is horribly out of date, totally unsupported and shouldn't be used on any machine connected to the net. Upgrade your system to a supported version.

you do not
Fedora 14 went " End Of Life" on 2011-12-08

you install the current Fedora 20 operating system

Then install the MICROSOFT owned "skype"
-- it might still work on apple and linux
http://www.skype.com/en/download-sky...-for-computer/
has a 32 bit ONLY!!!! fedora 16 rpm
it might work on fedora 20
but you will need to install all the needed 32 bit compatibility lib's

and have a look at this fedora 20 fedoraforum post

I like "easylife" for Fedora. It is an easy way to install additional software like Skype.

http://easylifeproject.org/

(First you must upgrade your unsuppored Fedora 14 to the current Fedora 20, though.)

Hi,
I concur with the previous posters that you ought update your fedora system. Once you have done that just download the skype-4.2.0.13-fedora.i586.rpm file then issue the command

Code:
sudo yum install skype-4.2.0.13-fedora.i586.rpm
yum will automatically take care of the dependencies. Perhaps the above command will work with Fedora 14, but I am not sure; the binary rpm may not be compatible or Fedora 14 may not be sophisticated enough.

Sincere regards,
