I have windows 98 installed on my computer. It has two drives c: (7GB) & D: (3GB) where windows is installed on c:.I would like to install linux on my system along with windows 98. Please tell me the detailed procedure(step wise) to install linux. Thank u.

Things to remeber:
Be careful about partitioning.
If you want to install RedHat on D: ...then select /dev/hdb
if you are installing on C: then careful....don't delete /dev/hda1
it is better to have a different partition on C that can be used for
RedHat
if you want to install lilo/grub in MBR (from which you can
select "RedHat" or "Windows") then select it during installa-
tion otherwise you have to change lilo/grub later.
In my opinion it is better to install Grub in MBR.
