and which distribution to choose ? thanks. |
Check the Oracle website for recommended versions and the "free for personal use" version of Oracle.
Sometimes you've gotta do your own research ;) |
Please give me a links.
I just ask for get help, if I know how I help my self; why i'll ask ? :) Thanks. |
any body can help ?
|
not if typing www.oracle.com and clicking the download button is too tough for you.
* hint, there's install instructions listed on the download page. |
Thanks very much.
this is download version for Linux: http://www.oracle.com/technology/sof...linuxsoft.html But I ask around : Which Linux distribution I must choose for installing ORACLE from CDs ? because not every distro I can do that. Thanks again. |
why can't you? All of the major distros can mount cds. If you can mount the cds, then you can read the readme/install files. Usually with these big ticket software programs, the readme files are pretty specific and come with good install and setup documentation - better than most people can explain.
