Lightbulb Can go into KDE, but problem on display..

After trying and trying, read thru all the manual on the site, i manage to go into the Caldera Linux 2.4 desktop(KDE) already, i'm using the 'lizardx' command to configure the settings. But there is some problem,

1) My display was very BIG(icons and screen looks very big), i think there is something wrong on my setting, so i want to know how to change the display into smaller size in the KDE.(like 1024*768 in Windows).

2) Another thing is, everytime when i go into the configuration using 'lizardx' or 'XF86Setup' command, the settings i save before will automatically go away(change). I'm sure i click 'OK' before exit.
Sometimes if i select the wrong setting like the monitor or the color(true color 32 bpp, etc), then i cannot go into the KDE screen already. Actually which color should i select - 8 bpp, 16bpp, 24 bpp or true color 32 bpp? Really confuse....

3) Also want to know that what is the differences between 'lizardx' and 'XF86Setup' command, which one should configure first or both is a standalone configuration?

Any reply are welcome, thanks in advance..
