How to install KDE after konstruct is finished?

I have KDE on my system already, I am mearly updating. I ran konstuct and it worked fine, and now I have a KDE3.2.3 folder in my home directory. Now how do I make it so I can boot this version? It isn't listed in the login manager and command "startkde" opens the old one. I really have no use for the old kde if this one works fine if that helps any?

This is what I have in my .bash_profile for my test user but if you just use the commands with the directories for your layout in the console window before you startkde it should work.

Code:
#
  export QTDIR=~/kde3.3-beta2
  export KDEDIR=~/kde3.3-beta2
  export KDEDIRS=~/kde3.3-beta2

  export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=~/kde3.3-beta2/lib
  export PATH=~/kde3.3-beta2/bin:$PATH

well it works when I type it into a console now, but when at the login window I still don't have the option for the KDE 2.3.2, only the old one.

I have been looking everywhere and all the "how-to" pages are useless, they don't match up with 3.2.3. Why is this so figgen hard to do? I just want to enter a new field in the login manager and have it load this seperate kde

Can I just overwrite the current kde folder with my new one? If so where is it?
