how to install gaim?
 
can someone please help me im new to linux and i dunt knoe how to install gaim....i downloded the file and source thingy its rpm but i dunno wat to do it says it needs some files

Most likely those are dependecies needed by gaim. If you provide the errors given and more specifically your distro and version, it might help us determine what is needed for you to install gaim.

does it say it's missing dependencies? if so, you need to download and install the things it is talking about. just search for them on google.
