how to install drivers from cd

i just got redhat 9 installed and it asked me if i wanted to install anything else. i wanted to install drivers for my sinxp1394 gigabyte motherboard, creative live! sound card and drivers for my ati9700. when i inserted the disc linux said it did not detect any drivers. so i gave up on that and now im trying to figure how to install these drivers now. i understand linux does not use .exe files so what shall i do!

ok well your not going to be able to use them cd's as they are for our windows pal....anyways you probably don't need your mobo disk as the majority of things (if not all) should of picked up in the installation....the sblive! and ati drivers are easily accessable on the internet....but in redhat 9 shouldn't of your sound been picked up???if not for the reason that you have an xgamer or something go here for sound drivers and you can go here for your video card...... anyways, what is not working on your board if anything?
i think that board has a RAID controller and thats one thing that may have issues....
if its the IT 8212 controller go here:
http://www.ite.com.tw/productInfo/Do...3%20Controller
and you can download its support there..
as of your firewire that should get picked up fine, and the SATA may or may not have issues....have no experience with that, but i think it might have some support in later (most recent) kernels, but may not on a fresh rh9 install...
anyways get back with more details (if any) on things that may not be working on your mobo...
