Question How to install *.pkg file


I downloaded a file named:

ABIword-1.0.2-sparc32-local.pkg

How to install it ?

you don't that's a package for a sparc system, not an x86 system, it is of no use to you and won't work.

As nice as it is to see your change of face, can i recommend you have a look through a standard users guide, which will cover an awful lot of the questions you are asking. the RUTE guide in my signature is great.
