the downloading speed in k-torent in linux is 2 slow only 30-35 kbps on a 512 kbps line.....when i used to use windows the download speed on bitcomet was 60-70 kbps....why it is so so?
The speed of torrents are of course connected to how fast connections your seeders have, and/or how many they are. The only things you can do to be sure to maximize the speed is to make sure the ports ktorrent uses are correctly forwarded in the router AND cap the upload speed at 70-80% of what your maximum upload speed is. So if I have 50kb/s max upload I would set my max global upload rate to about 40kb/sec.
