How to handle files more than 2G?


Hi All,
i have files more than 2G on my pc. some programs like wireshake can't habdle them. is there any chance to configure my OS to handle these files.

i am using Ubuntu 9.10.

I don't think there is any easy fix. AFAIK this comes down limitations of the individual programs. Check for bug reports against each program where you have problems with large files.
