How to get the cpu temp?

How do I get the cpu temp information from a command line?

I know i can get it from gkrellum or something but i'm interested in a command line program.

Any ideas?

You'll need to install a utility called "lm_sensors" to get to your motherboards temp and fan rpm sensors.
Search sourceforge.net for lmsensors and you'll find the project page and all about installing it.

I do know that you'll at least need your kernel source installed for it.
